Just downright awful. Aol should hand out Ritalin with every episode.

The Most Expensive Car I Ever Drove.
I was lucky enough to drive a new Mercedes-Benz S550 this morning. MSRP around $100,000. The most expensive car I’ve ever driven. I didn’t like it.
Of course this is my opinion. I like smaller sport sedans like the RS4/S4 and M3. I like to feel the road and enjoy the feedback most German sedans give me. But in the S550, I felt totally disconnected from the road. It’s the kind...

First Four Days with the iPad.
My first four days with the iPad has opened my eyes to the potential of this device. Right now, very few apps take advantage of the full potential of the iPad.
Most were quickly “upgraded” from their iPhone versions so they would scale nicely on the larger iPad screen and be available at launch. Obviously, the best is yet to come. Now that developers have the actual device, rather...

Rapier Automotive SL-C Superlite Made Right Next... →
Nice to see a local car company produce such a beautiful car. Not sure if I’d call it a “supercar” with only 333 HP, but being so light, I bet it can keep up with other supercars just fine.

iPad: We’re Not In Kansas Anymore.
I love these quotes from Fraser Speirs’ blog post Future Shock:
Many will cling to their January-26th notions of what it takes to get “real work” done; cling to the idea that the computer-based part of it is the “real work”.
It’s not. The Real Work is not formatting the margins, installing the printer driver, uploading the document, finishing the PowerPoint slides, running the software update...

Large iPad Customer Group Ignored In Apple’s...
After watching the full iPad event via Quicktime I found it interesting that Steve Jobs left out a very important customer group whom I believe would have more need for an iPad than the “iPhone and laptop” group he mentions.
I understand that this was mostly a mobile technology keynote, but I believe a good chunk of the population are “iPhone and desktop” users who, other than the small iPhone,...
