Porsche 911L “Number 8” Painting

Releasing 2 paintings in a month, that’s a new record for me. Of course, it helps that most of the country has been told to stay in their homes as of end of March 2020. So it seems we all have plenty of time on our hands and, thankfully, I have digital painting to take my mind off of what’s going on in the world right now.

I love to scour Instagram for painting inspiration and this beautiful photograph by @MrJonesMiller, of a bright red Porsche 911L with a bit of racing livery, showed up on my feed and, right away, I knew I had to paint it.

Love the red of the 911 combined with the green of the floor it’s sitting on. This whole piece was a joy to paint, expect for maybe the chrome grill which took some time trying to line up everything correctly.

If you’re interested in a print of this painting, I’m offering a limited run of 50 signed prints in my shop. The prints are 13”x13” (33cmx33cm) and are printed on archival grade, 60lb, 229gsm Polar Matte paper by Red River Paper using Canon ChromaLife 100+ inks.
