Why I Changed The Signature On My Paintings

You may have noticed, between my first and second paintings, that I’ve updated the signature I use to sign them.

The main reason for this is because I’ve found it difficult to recreate the exact signature on all the prints that I’ve been shipping out. On my first painting of the Outlaw 911, it took me probably 15-20 tries to get the exact signature I liked.

Unfortunately I don’t have that luxury when signing my prints in pencil. I have just the one shot. Yes, I could erase a signature that I didn’t like, but then that starts to degrade the paper when I use the eraser.

Starting with my second painting, the Porsche 917, I’ve updated my signature to something that is 1) much easier to recreate in pencil on my prints and 2) much easier to read than the script I was using before. All future prints will have this new signature.

So rest assured, both of these signatures are mine and are authentic.

Thanks for everyone’s support!
